Arnold Ivan Goodstein Jr. (AIG Jr.) is a young, semi-accomplished, budding Jewish entrepreneur. Goodstein employs the waspy, would-be writer dreamer Sedgwick Frampton. In the cubicle next over is the disgruntled, semi-disillusioned, would-be covert convert-to-Islam, Afro-American Damahl. The clash of titans Worlds Apart isn’t. The clash of ideals, cultures, dreams, perspectives, and happenstance, it is and makes Worlds Apart spin like a well-oiled turnstile at a Justin Bieber concert. From the story’s advent __ a sweeping patriotic tribute given by Mixum County’s own Senator Satchel Damedici __ to the illusory scenes with the other modern day Tiger, Mixum County’s own private investigator Tiger Johnston, the novel weaves dream sequences in and amongst the characters’ harsh, petty, potent, and powerful realities. Included and of course, the reader is humorously, if not raucously, subjected to steady doses of sex, greed, violence, religious fanaticism, lust, more wanton behavior, racial profiling, stereotyping, more violence, kidnapping, innuendo, and other well-attuned insensitivity. Read on! and into Worlds Apart, where every day’s a magic carpet ride!
